Oracle Fusion Reporting provides a tool (OTBI) that gives businesses real-time insight into their data.

Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) offers insight into Fusion ERP business processes in real time. Traditional ad-hoc reporting tools require the user to have knowledge of the database's data objects. Rather than exposing business users to the complexity of data structure, OTBI organises over 9000 reportable data objects into functional subject areas that business users can easily relate to. Instead of constructing a SQL query, users can drag and drop data from functional subject areas and use various graphical views to explore or visualise the data in an interactive manner. A reporting wizard (BI Composer) is also available to assist non-technical business users in running, editing, or creating reports in HCM applications.

Real-time execution of reports against the schema of a transactional database with user data security applied. When HCM data is updated, reports and dashboards are immediately refreshed at the time of query.

To ensure rapid query execution, OTBI subject areas are designed with tuning techniques such as SQL bypass and object trimming.
